Here are my three publishing credits. I am also officially in print in seven other self-published anthologies, six done by my local writers’ group, the Y-City Writers' Forum (available at Amazon), and one as a result of placing 2nd in a writing contest in a nearby town (out of print now, I believe).

Columbus: Past, Present, and Future
This is my third and latest publish, a short piece of historical fiction called, “1863: The Confluence.” It appears in an anthology for the 200th anniversary of the city of Columbus, Ohio in 2012, called, Columbus: Past, Present, and Future. The story is based on a true account of two brothers during the Civil War, one a Union and one a Confederate soldier, who meet up again as guard and prisoner at Camp Chase prison camp. The book includes some very interesting stories, all of which take place in Columbus, in chronological order from historical past to futuristic adventure. Part of its sale goes to the Ohio Historical Society and to support Ohio authors.
THEMA Literary Journal
This is my first publish, a short story in the THEMA Literary Journal, monthly theme “In Kay’s Kitchen,” titled, “Comfort Food.” It is a story about beef stew and the relationship between a woman and her parents. I love food themes, so this was fitting!
Chicken Soup for the Soul: Thanks Dad
This is my second publish, in Chicken Soup for the Soul, Thanks, Dad! titled “From the Only.” It is a true story about my father, the memory of a sweet gesture from the past, and my gesture of thanks to him. I love the “Chicken Soup” books, and this one is a great gift for any Dad (or Grandpa or Uncle…) for any occasion.
